Theory of innovation

When an idea come soon in time, it does not wait to bloom by whom.

We discussed in the last class that innovation stops at a point of time under traditions. So to understand the same we were now required to think of the many things we observe or look at in our daily schedules that are related to the specialisations we were about to choose. We discussed the concept of Semiotics under which we talked about the signifiers and the signified. Choosing the signified as City, the signifiers were as vague as interpersonal relationships, Norms, systems, climate, etc.

For me the signified being fashion, I thought of signifiers such as:img_6123

Describing my daily schedule in context to my field of interest (fashion):

criticism and judgements on peoples attires

first 5 days of the month urging to by the Vogue

classifying people’s jobs based on their clothes

wanting to know more about updates, etc.
